{{ The two guards turn as Kinsen speaks, even as the enemy ceases to live and falls to dust at the feet of Jaric, returning only minutes later with two healers and a stretcher. They quickly retrieve the queen, moving her toward the infirmary , the preists already performing their healing magics even as they rush down the hall.

As the rush of healers enter the room to tend to the other wounded, namely Kinsen who was crushed by the bear-beast, Jaric's form solidifies once more in his armor. Where the body of the Ursine lays, a form of utter darkness now hovers, its wings of shadow folded behind its massive back, for the world looking s if the Ursine's shadow had come to a life of its own.}}

The first blow in this fight has been struck, the stag has dealt us a wound we will see avenged... {{ He keeps his eyes on the newly formed wraith-beast before him}}... mobilize our forces for war, call all banners to the ready, and strengthen our defenses. We face more of this, and worse.

{{ He steps up to the wraith, placing a hand on the insubstantial form of the shade}}

For now, you are my messenger, return to your brethren, and cast them all into death. Leave none of your former master's spawn alive and I will release you, fail me, and your torment will be forever.

{{ He turns from the room, headed down the hall after the healers and his wounded wife.}}

~Ral curses again, muttering dark oaths under his breath as he watches the end of the business. He replaces his blades, walking with a pained gait to Kinsen and offering the man a hand up. Looking at him, he shakes his head, breaking into a grin. "Never thought to meet a man who was a greater fool than I, but today sir, I have that honor. Aye, a fool, and an honor to his cloak." he wipes blood from his lips with his free hand, chuckling "Only a dagger? Gods be good man, the thing must be near on five times your size."~

=Kinsen looks at Ralean, eyes slightly narrowed. Reaching up one hand, he stands, his wounds fully hitting him, and he leans heavily on Ralean's shoulder, breaking into a grin. "Aye, only a dagger, but it seemed like a good idea at the moment." he looks to the healers, nodding, and taking a deep breath, his body aching and the blood from his body mingling with Angel's on the ground.=

~Bathory stood, pressed against the wall near the door. She had watched everything, her eyes wide in shock. Watching Angel rush past after the Ursine attack, she turned back to the others in the room. Her hand rested protectively on her stomach.

"Well...that was unexpected."

Ava wondered if that meant Jaric was gone and they could leave, or if he would be returning. She looked at the furniture and the sheer carnage and then everyone else in the room. Ava bit her lip and shook her head.~

"So..we are to prepare for war? What will happen now?"

~Ral looks at Bathy and grins, wiping his mouth from the faint traces of blood. "We kill the bastards."~
