::As the ship nears the pier, she stares out over the island with a smile, her mismatched eyes, one gold and one blue, taking in the sights of the harbor. It feels like such a long time since she left, and though she isn't quite sure what she'll do with herself yet, it's good to be home. She lets her red-gold hair whip around her face in the wind despite the chill in the air. Since it's unruly most of the time anyway, she feels little need to try and keep it neat when all the odds are against it. Most of her things are stowed in her quarters belowdeck, to be dragged up by the deckhands and delivered to the inn where she'd arranged a room for a few days, but she never goes far without her bow. The string is loosened for travel, and the bow and her full quiver of arrows tightly sealed against the moisture of the sea, but still slung over her shoulders in preparation for disembarking.
Once the ship has been tied off and boards extended, she joins the line of passengers anxious to be off and about their business. With a deep breath, taking in all the various scents both good and bad, her smile widens. This isn't where she'd choose to make a permanent home, but the familiarity lightens her spirits. She listens to the accents around her, ships' crews still on their decks, travelers and traders wandering the docks, merchants hawking their wares as loudly as their voices can carry, and she can't help but think of how good it feels to be home. With a spring in her step, she meanders through the crowds into the city, looking for the sign that will tell her which inn she's looking for::
