So far now they are warning us that this storm might be heading our way...emphesis on might but I am preparing anyway. So if I disappear and you hear the storm hit Virginia...then you will know why. Maybe it will veer off before coming ashore and all will be well. Just a heads up in case!

All is well. Earl kissed us but it was a brief peck on the cheek. No real damage and just some rain and wind like a regular storm for us in Virginia Beach....

Glad you're safe. I had a look this morning to see what was happening, and it was announced on the news on the radio earlier today that it had been downgraded.

We were worried about it too, on the Jersey shore. We were prepared for some heavy rainfall and high winds. It was ominously dark and cloudy yesterday, but not so much as a drop of rain fell here. Today it's QUITE breezy, but not enough to be damaging, and a lovely sunny day. So much for the tropical storm warning we had for the past few days.
